Caviteclad Permapanel

The Caviteclad PERMAPANEL System is an environmentally friendly cavity-based exterior cladding which uses mineralized wood wool panels as a backing substrate over a self draining cavity to create a versatile, cost effective plastered exterior wall cladding for residential and light commercial construction.

Caviteclad PERMAPANELS are manufactured in New Zealand by New Zealanders from almost 100% organic renewable resources following the strict quality guidelines of British Standard 1105 (1972). The natural composition of PERMAPANEL that is used in the Caviteclad PERMAPANEL cladding system is a sustainable alternative which is not only non-toxic and kinder on the environment to manufacture, but it will help to ensure your home is attractive to any potential buyers in the future.

The Caviteclad PERMAPANEL system is based on 50mm PERMAPANELS that are fi xed to timber or steel framing over the surface of a 20mm cavity. The panels are then stopped and jointed before being over coated with fi breglass reinforcing mesh embedded in a specially blended proprietary cement based plaster. The walls are then fi nished with a chosen fi nishing plaster from Specialized's extensive range before being paintedwith a breathable 100% acrylic paint system. The Caviteclad PERMAPANEL system incorporates a BRANZ (Building Research Association of New Zealand) tested and appraised primary and secondary means of weather defence against water penetration by separating the cladding from the external wall framing with a nominal 20mm drained cavity. Using Caviteclad PERMAPANEL ensures the construction of your home has been kinder to the environment and that it will be long lasting even in New Zealand's most extreme weather conditions.
